What you'll do, Summary

We are looking for an experienced warehouse inventory supervisor for a fast growing company!
The continued growth and development of the company presents amazing opportunities for the

The Warehouse/Inventory Supervisor is responsible for a range of activities for managing the
warehouse and inventory effectively. Including ordering, receiving material, working with vendors,
and managing the inventory software.

 

You will work on other various activities such as:

  • Assist company with implementing its inventory software
  • Ensure all company policies and controls are followed
  • Order and source materials for the warehouse from various vendors
  • Receive materials and check orders in from vendors accurately
  • Notify purchasing of any discrepancies/shortages
  • Properly check, notate, and turn in all warehouse documents
  • Oversee proper credits are received from vendors for all returns
  • Ensure proper stocking/re-stocking is followed by the team
  • Keep warehouse lists, labels, and shelves accurate at all times
  • Verify accuracy of parts & fixtures needed for job pulls
  • Verify Warehouse Assistants perform all their assigned tasks
  • Order to keep the warehouse properly stocked
  • Follow up with vendors on shortages/discrepancies for correction
  • Perform inventory/cycle counts on inventory
  • Review damaged and extra items to consolidate periodically
  • Communicate proactively and efficiently with management
  • Ensure warehouse is ready for morning dispatch
  • Consistently aim for incremental improvement

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • REQUIRED: Valid Driver’s License and good driving record (5 years)
  • REQUIRED: 5+ years of warehouse experience
  • REQUIRED: 3+ years in warehouse leadership
  • REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • PREFERRED: 2- or 4-year Warehouse management degree
  • Computer and Internet related skills (MS Office, Excel, Gmail, etc.)
  • Able to work in a warehouse environment requiring physical labor throughout the day
  • Must be a self-starter with good communication skills
  • Must be efficient with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work without supervision once trained, self-disciplined
